about

Here it is folks! The first official release of MOZYK of 2015 with Japanese Umio & German Xyqph!

What's pretty incredible with this split is that, even though they are thousands of kilometers away from each other, it feels like they are twin brothers. No wonder they've decided to do an album together, their sound is almost identical and the level of production is equally outstanding.

The album begins with an orchestral riot that only Umio can flawlessly deliver and Xyqph fires back with a fusion of jazz and nintendoesque melodies. Umio answers with bombing and chaotic notes and it seems that both artists were inspired by each other because the album goes in that direction for a little while. ''Threatenig Sky'' offers a chance to breathe for a couple of minutes with a breaky/chillful ambience until Xyqph comes back with a similar song that ends with powerful designs... The collab track, which is the last song of the album, summons the whole idea and concept of the split. You can definitely hear that those two had to work together.

MOZYK lovers will unconditionally support this release and float among the complexity and creativity of those two very talented artists.
