This is arguably one of Julien's best releases, for me it's almost like the turning point for him. Sure, his prior LPs and EPs packed quite a punch but this release is remarkable in terms of production and overall feel. This short little EP captures plenty of emotion and presents the idea of Ruby My Dear perfectly -- this EP showcases the varying styles and techniques seen from Julien's breakcore project, it's a stellar release. aFriendlyBullet

Synthamesk has to be one of my favorite breakcore discoveries.
This album is here is full of this encompassing darkness and boasts an incredibly gritty vibe.
I will say, this album is definitely not the best for a casual listen; you've really gotta be in the mood for an album like this.
I can best describe it as blissfully disjointed and brutal (even gothic at times) breakcore. aFriendlyBullet
